The Palya Fund is an ancillary fund that has been established by Anangu to raise money for special projects that benefit the Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara people. The Palya Fund has tax-deductible gift recipient status. It operates separately from its beneficiary, Ananguku Arts and Culture Aboriginal Corporation ICN 3834, and is managed by trustees who ensure the transparency and accountability of projects undertaken with funds raised.
The Patron of the Palya Fund is The Honourable Dr J.C. Bannon, AO. The Trustees of the Palya Fund are His Honour JudgePeter McCusker, Mr Geoff Davis, Chartered Accountant, Mr Colin Koch, founding General Manager of Ananguku Arts and Culture Aboriginal Corporation, Dr Helene Sommer, art historian and lawyer, and Ms Maureen Ritchie, company director.
