Oct 9 - 10

Tandanya, 253 Grenfell Street, Adelaide

More than 40 art centres from across Australia will be represented at the TARNANTHI Art Fair on the festival’s opening weekend at Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute. Festival-goers will have a rare opportunity to buy works of art priced from $50 to over $10,000 directly from artists and art centres. This is Adelaide’s first national Aboriginal  and Torres Strait Islander art fair. Practical workshops, including weaving workshops led  by the Tjanpi Desert Weavers, will be part of the fun.

ANANGUKU ARTS will have a stall at the fair to present work by South Australian Indigenous artists who don't have access to an Aboriginal Art Centre in their region. Artists from Coober Pedy, the Riverlands, Mount Gambier, Port Augusta, Adelaide and the Eyre Peninsula will be featured.
