This year, the Ku Arts Studio has seen lots of exciting developments! We’ve had a lively cohort of artists painting in the sun. Melanie Koolmatrie created a body of work for the Tarnanthi Art Fair, Aislin Aspel has been working on a big commission for the Sealink Ferry at Kangaroo Island, and Rhubee Neal has begun planning for her Solo show at the Mill in 2025.

Melanie has also been undertaking arts worker training focusing on mixing paint, preparing canvas, stretching paintings, photographing, and cataloguing artwork, and Rhubee has been developing some exciting skills in digital illustration.
