Ku Arts continues to support artists in accessing regional opportunities including the Malka Art Award, held in Port Augusta annually. Ku’s ongoing commitment to providing art materials to independent artists across the state ensures that artists from diverse backgrounds can make work to enter. Ku also supports artists to write successful artist biographies and statements alongside catalogue information on their entry forms and assists with freighting costs and logistics.

In 2023, Preston Warren won the Ku Arts People’s Choice award.

Ku Arts looks forward to supporting more artists in the lead-up to the 2024 Malka Award.
